South Carolina State Representative Shannon Erickson presented a prospective bill that would make the Palmetto state’s automobile safety requirements stricter.

The costs was heard in a subcommittee this week and requires a number of boosts in child restraint requirements for drivers, consisting of altering when children can relocate to the front seat.

If the bill passes, children 13 and under would have to sit in the back seat unless they fulfill a certain height and weight.
